Pantographic blocks are metamaterials made of a finite number parallel pantographic sheets interconnected by cylindrical pivots. In this paper, block subjected to 3-point flexure, where the prescribed displacements plane, shows essentially monoclastic deformation (i.e., one principal curvatures top surface is found be negligible wrt. other one). modeled herein with second gradient 3-dimensional continuum model that valid at length scale cells.
